We go for taco Tuesdays. Small street tacos for $1. They taste good and the wait is an indicator of how good the food is. Having come from the west side of the state this is the best I've had so far in my short 3 years of living here.
Atilano's has delicious and reasonably priced food. Their horchata is amazing and one of the best I've ever had. I ordered a California burrito and I probably wouldn't order it again. Being originally from California, I guess I'm just used to the California burritos there. They are more flavorful and even bigger in size. I will give Atilano's credit for their reasonable prices, though. You get a lot of food for what you pay and their menu had a wide variety of items to choose from. The next time we are in Spokane, I want to try one of their chorizo breakfast burritos. The restaurant itself appeared to be clean from what I could see, but I took the food to-go so didn't eat inside. We have driven by this place many times while in Spokane, and I could kick myself for not stopping here sooner.
They claim to be San Diego's best burritos. I have been to San Diego, and no, they aren't. However, probably one of the best burritos in Spokane. And the huge variety on the menu should please just about anyone, including vegetarians or picky children. Every employee is friendly and upbeat, which is a nice change of pace. Will note that the seating area is usually clean and well kept. Was a little concerned going through the drive thru about the creeping vines of interconnected extension cords. Seems like a massive electrical fire waiting to happen Anyway, solid place, at least until they burn it down...
